The room was small, but Claudia wasn't too surprised. She was used to all rooms seeming small compared to her suite in the Imperial Palace. Titus always made sure she had adequate space there and her mother's house in the marshes was large as well. The room at the Magid School was about the same size as her old room at the University.
Claudia shook her head, trying not to get distracted. She had been selected to come and study at the Magic School after only a year at the Universtiy. Wizard Policant thought some off-world knowledge could be used to help rebuild their own world. Unfortunately, that meant she was back to square one... in a strange place with no friends.
"Enough of that," she muttered, straightening out her clothes, "time to go find out who else is here."
